Lemon essential oil

Lemon essential oil has a strong antiseptic effect and is ideally used in cases of acne. Lemon essential oil is produced by cold pressing its peel. It has a yellow color and an intensely refreshing and fruity aroma with rich antiseptic properties. Its characteristic smell is attributed to the natural ingredients of citronellol, geraniol and limonene. Limonene is found in citrus essential oils and is the main aromatic substance with very strong antiseptic and cleansing properties. For this reason, it is especially preferred in cases of acne and freckles. It treats the spots that appear after sun exposure, brightens and rejuvenates dull skin. There are also traces of b-pinene and sesquiterpenes due to its antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory action which reduce joint pain and relaxing blood vessels.
