The use of beeswax and olive oil as an emollient was cultivated in the Minoan era and we have faithfully followed the recipe of our ancestors by using the same pure ingredients in our skin care.
Our beeswax skin ointment harnesses the wax produced by bees to create a salve that soothes the skin as well as providing it with essential vitamins such as vitamin A. The anti-inflammatory properties of beeswax not only promote the healing of wounds but act as a barrier between the skin and external bacteria whilst allowing the wound to breathe.
Infused with olive oil and dittany, this ointment can be used on a number of different skin conditions such as burns, scars, exczema and rosacea without the use of synthetic chemicals.
