Cretan Cistus Rockrose from organic agriculture

Cistus Rockrose or Labdanum is an endemic plant of Crete. The labdanum beverage provides a protective shield for the immune system by detoxifying the body thanks to the polyphenols found in its leaves. It detoxifies the body and eliminates toxic heavy metals that come from cigarette smoke, for example. It treats slight discomfort of the digestive system such as diarrhea and indigestion.

The organic farm of Bioaroma is located on a mountainous slope near Agios Nikolaos,Crete and is home to over 500,000 herbs and trees. The particular morphology of the soil, its altitude and fertility, formed the ideal position of cultivation of our herbs.

Each herb leaf is carefully cut by the skillful hands of local experienced collectors.
